About DebConf

DebConf is the annual conference for Debian contributors and users interested in improving Debian. Previous Debian conferences have featured speakers and attendees from all around the world. The last DebConf, DebConf25, took place in Brest, France and was attended by 443 participants from 51 countries.

DebConf26 is taking place in Santa Fe, Argentina, in July 2026.

It is being preceded by DebCamp.

Venue

The Facultad de Ingeniería en Ciencias Hídricas - FICH is located in the university campus of the National University of the Littoral (UNL), a site east of the city separated by the iconic suspension bridge.

Adjacent to the university campus is the UNL ATE complex, where the hotel is located. Together, these two locations offer an environment conducive to networking, based on collaboration and the exchange of resources.

The FICH (Faculty of Engineering and Hydric Sciences) has several conference rooms and classrooms for plenary sessions, presentations, debates, and informal workshops.
