Not only because it was the first urban settlement in the Río de la Plata region and the first port city in the country, but also because it is the heir to a rich past and guardian of cultural traditions. Santa Fe is considered the Cradle of the National Constitution.

The city of Santa Fe has a large number of museums, both publicly and privately managed. It also boasts a wide variety of theaters and public and community libraries.

Santa Fe has a long and rich architectural history, with the Suspension Bridge being a historical and cultural landmark of the city. It is considered one of the most beautiful bridges in Argentina and has been declared a National Historic Monument.

Santa Fe’s gastronomy is diverse and extensive. Surrounded by rivers, it has preserved the tradition of eating fish since colonial times. Along its shores, there are restaurants specializing in every possible variety. Beer has also become a symbol of the city, particularly the liso, a serving of fresh, unpasteurized beer, which is regarded as the city’s signature beer style.
