Why do we teach science?

When I taught physics and chemistry, students could experiment. This is very different from accepting “scientific facts”. To make young scientists, we must teach them to resist to fake information.

Free-Libre Software, free-libre hardware allow students to experiment and play with reality with no black-box device blurring it.

This talk is about didactic and scientific software you can find in Debian, and how to build a nomadic USB drive, with all of it inside.
